A very strong female-centric film. All the performances are excellent. Critics didn't like Matthias Schoenaerts' understated performance, many felt there was no chemistry between him and Kate Winslet, I did.
The women's salon scene moved me to tears. I loved the pace of the film as well. It was the journey of a woman who had lost everything. I will probably see it again.
