Review of A Little Chaos (2015) by Juan N — 29 Jun 2015
A Little Chaos is a minor but pleasant affair. The rather weak script is elevated by Kate Winslet's wonderful performance. She infuses meaning and depth into every look, which sometimes tricks us into believing that we are watching a better rounded character than Sabine really is.
The film is surely beautiful to look at, stylish and not without some very poetic moments and intriguing (if a bit flowery) dialogue. All in all, A Little Chaos cannot be a complete failure nor a complete success because it is just too safe, tidy and not a bit innovative.
