Review of A Little Chaos (2015) by Heather S — 23 May 2016
I will admit to being mystified at the reviews afforded this film; the anachronisms matter little to the effectiveness of the story and the backdrop of Versailles and the sumptuous costumes are additional to the core of the film, not its raison d'etre.
The pacing is perfect and the performances from a great cast are spot on. It may well be unrealistic but the direction from the much lamented Rickman raises the story above such considerations.
