Review of A Little Bit of Heaven (2011) by Lee B — 15 Feb 2011
Lets get this straight, this is not a good film, theres zero chemistry from the 2 leads, Gael Garcia Bernal looking like a lost puppy as an actor, a very predictable plot (pushes people away as afraid of rejection, etc), so lets not judge this on its status as a good film, but as a piece of entertainment......
Its ok and does the job. Theres enough humour (Peter Dinklage, brilliant), enough drama (Kathy Bates, excellent) to hold the attention, and as a weepie (which everyone probably knows it is) it does exactly what it says on the tin.
