Review of A LEGO Brickumentary (2014) by Ian G — 14 Mar 2016
Lego a Brickumentary is a decent doc that is a solid overview of the impact and influence of Lego throughout merchandising and various other media, especially in the last 10 years or so in unlikely ways.
As engaging and fun as it is, a Brickumentary defintely rides on the heals of the Lego Movie and acts almost like a behind the scenes doc extra that got the theatrical release to promote the company and ride the popularity as opposed to being its own thing.
Would have been cool to see more of the influence of the fan films made of lego and the lego videogames rather than just bit mentioned of them towards the tale end of the film, Decent for what it is.
