Review of A League of Their Own (1992) by Michael T — 05 Jun 2010
Gloria Says: I loved this movie in 1992 and I still love it to this day. Every actor in this movie did a phenomenal job at their character roles. The story itself warmed my heart, made me laugh and cry. Great story, remarkable acting and a fantastic insight of american baseball history.
Michael Says: I am a huge baseball fan so I walked into this film with a very positive attitude and it did not disappoint. The story was cool to learn about and all the acting was excellent but the true standout in this film is Tom Hanks. To me, his acting and characterization elevate this film above the standard comedy. He is absolutely hilarious and his expressions are priceless. Recommended, especially for the "no crying in baseball" scene.
