Review of A League of Their Own (1992) by Otageemeur L — 27 Apr 2012
I was surprised by the movie. I thought it would be a simple movie depicting women in baseball during the hard times of the Second World War... BUT, actually it is a very pleasing movie to watch, fun and yet emotional. I truly enjoyed the various characters despite their simplicity. The story is talking about the creation of all women baseball teams during the 2nd World War. Two sisters that loved to play baseball will be recruited in one of the team: the Rockford Peaches. We mostly discovered the two sisters, the coach and 3 other girls (Marla, Mae and Doris) from this team.
I would recommend the movie for people who would love to discover the women baseball and a sweet little story between sisters.
