Review of A League of Their Own (1992) by Melody S — 19 Mar 2009
Okay I'll admit it. I kind of like this movie. It's funny and has some great moments, especially the end. I really like how the filmmakers didn't give the audience a clear answer on whether her sister dropped the ball on purpose or did she just lose it.
I personally think her sister dropped the ball for her sister, but the world will never know. Plus, this is one of my favorite Tom Hanks roles, I mean he is just perfect as the drunk manager who learn to care about girls baseball.
I guess I can relate to Tom Hank's character, I didn't really care either about this movie when I first saw it, but it grew on me and I ended up cheering by the end.
