Review of A Late Quartet (2012) by Brandon S — 04 Aug 2013

While being overall quite unremarkable its still a great film with some magnificent performances and fascinating chemsitry between characters. My only major problem was that whenever Mr. Zilberman tries to create any tension or intense emotion it just comes across as melodramatic.

This movie does the job of showcasing the talents of it's leads quite well, but doesn't really achieve any kind of emotional fruition.
