Maybe it was just the mood I was in, but this film (& it is a film, not a movie) had me mesmerized for its entirety. The acting is superb (Catherine Keener & Philip Seymour Hoffman together again..
. c'mon!), & the story is authentic, moving & somehow moralistic in a digestible sort of way.
