Review of A Lady Takes a Chance (1943) by Alexander G — 23 Aug 2010
This is really a combination of a lot of different genres and has interesting moments, it just doesn't really go anywhere. The only praise I have for it is John Wayne, he still manages to be charming and cool.
I think it fails mainly in that it takes the perspective of Jean Arthur's character when she really isn't all that strong.
