Review of A Knight's Tale (2001) by Lara S — 03 Apr 2010
Unmistakably charming, and the ensemble is seamless and well balanced. Ledger's dynamic heroism is met perfectly with Addy's wit and, most memorably, Paul Bettany's remarkably delivered comic monologues as Jeffrey Chaucer, the "herald".
With just the right amounts of romance and conflict, this movie provides a refreshing dose of daring renaissance entertainment with a modern flare.
