Whoa, people and critics alike. What kind of travesty are you guys committing against this film? The late Heath Ledger puts on an admirable performance, alongside the greatest supporting characters. Paul Bettany plays a jovial Geoffrey Chaucer, and succeeds at doing so.
This movie deserves more credit than its given, and I'll stand by that statement 'til death. So what if it's like other movies? It's not those other movies, right? So cut it out.
