What little story there is is a carbon copy of a 30 minute episode of Sir Lancelot. The other two hours of the movie is carp that doesn't even belong in the period. Dancing to rock music at a ball, sheer clothing on a woman, at that time indecency and disrespect would have gotten you killed quickly.
But I guess today you have to disrespect everyone and everything or you're nobody. Do yourself a favor and look up the old Sir Lancelot episode called The Joust. It much better than this movie and a lot shorter.
