Review of A Knight's Tale (2001) by Dalton B — 25 Oct 2012
One of the most underrated comedies of all time. Thoroughly enjoyable characters, well-made, witty and actually quite touching at points, all buoyed by Heath Ledger's performance. And Paul Bettany's comedic turn as Geoffrey Chaucer? Alan Tudyk as Wat the temperamental ginger? Both left me in stitches.
Oh, and anachronism? Like the fact that they use rock music in some sequences? I know very few movies that have used "We Will Rock You" or "Low Rider" to such great comic effect.
