Review of A Kiss Before Dying (1991) by Floyd C — 16 Feb 2007
The only reason that I give this film anything above a 0 is the climax, even if it is truely seeable a mile before it arrives and the half way watchable performance that Matt Dillion manages to provide with a script that is less then perfect.
I am happy to not see much of Sean Young in todays movie industry, she has got to be the worst actress I have seen in my life. Her stiff body language and the hum drum manner in which she delivers her lines only adds to the "awful factor" that this movie contains.
I feel ripped off and I bought it for $5.50 from the cheapy been at Wal-Mart. Don't waste your time with this one, read the wonderful novel or rent the original flick, both make this remake look like a DTV Lifetime movie.
..well actually most of them are better then this even.
