I like the story; though I detest it's pompous faggot author: Michael Cunningham. Someone else I also detest: Colin Farrell. He was totally miscast in this film; apparently being billed as a "departure" for him.
It doesn't work at all. Do any of his films ever "work"?! Nonetheless, I enjoy parts of this film. The music is great, and the period work is equally enjoyable. My favorite scene? Sissy Spacek getting stoned! LOVE HER.
