Review of A Home at the End of the World (2004) by Chris F — 08 Aug 2007
Excellent movie! I've watched this movie 4 or 5 times now. I thought I had already rated it. This is one of my favorite movies of all time. Colin Farrell plays Bobby, a bisexual guy who falls in love with his childhood friend (and step-brother) Jonathan (Dallas Roberts) who is gay and Jonathan's female roommate Clare (Robin Wright Penn).
The 3 of them start a family together, buy a house and have a baby but along with the good times comes some bad and very sad times. Sissy Spacek does a great job as the mother of Jonathan also. Very heart-touching movie.
A tear-jerker for sure. But some hot scenes also!
