Review of A Home at the End of the World (2004) by Tyrone W — 26 Aug 2007
Colin Ferrel is so hot. And the introductory scene, which I knew nothing about in advance, introduced me to Laura Nyro, who is more well known among singer-song writers than to the general public. I Love Upstairs by a China Lamp, Desiree, Angel, Walk on By, Wedding Bell Blues, Tripple Goddess Twilight, by the way.
I was wondering why a 70's era character would love a 50's song, and it's because Nyro released a 50's tribute CD and she is most well known for writing some of the most memerable hits of the '60's and '70's, like Eli's Coming or Walk on By, covered by Kelly Clarkson on Idol, and she was a major influence on Diva Vocalists and wrote a lot of music that inspired many '90's alternative artists as much of her music has a more modern feel.
I loved COlin Ferrel's hair and once again he's playing a man who has homosexual relations, like in Alexander.
