Review of A Home at the End of the World (2004) by Roberto N — 15 May 2008
Written by the great Michael Cunningham, this movie deals with relationships and how difficult can be living with someone and the impossibility of finding everything one might need in just one person. The cast was well chosen, Colin Farrell is in a very unusual role of the normal blockbusters we see him in, but did a good job; Robin Wright Pennâ??s character had a similar behaviour to that of the one she played in â??Sheâ??s So Lovelyâ??, but still brought depth and passion; Sissy Spacek is lovely, as always â?? very sad eyes and big heart; Dallas Roberts is an actor I didnâ??t know, but was alright overall, sad a lost.
First time director Michael Mayer filled some really big shoes with competent hands, making this a film to watch with an open mind and heart.
