Capra's second to last film, made in 1959, and set in Miami Beach, shows widower swinger single pop Sinatra trying to stay financially afloat while trying to raise his serious young son in a beachside hotel.
Thelma Ritter and Eddie G. and Capra's deft touch lift the proceedings considerably and the piece includes the song "High Hopes".
