Review of A History of Violence (2005) by Serdar S — 05 Feb 2013
Honestly, not my fave Cronenberg (that would either be Naked Lunch or eXistenZ I think), but damn fine. Certainly Viggo makes one perfect "every man" with a secret. While I'm certainly not the most violent person I've ever known (boy is THAT right), I have no tolerance for bullying, and I LOVED seeing Tom Stall's son take down the high school goons.
Certainly worth seeing, but if you have a weak stomach, might want to stick to something a little less bloody (oh and my friend Sean Sansom worked on this, so I just had to see it, for that if nothing else).
