Review of A History of Violence (2005) by Cateaa G — 12 Feb 2012
An excellent film based off the graphic novel. The action scenes were phenomenal. Viggo Mortensen was excellent. He is highly underrated as an actor and it is a shame that he did not get his just due until Eastern Promises.
Although William Hurt was great too, he was only in the last part of the film. Ed Harris was much better; he deserved the Oscar nomination. Very good directing by David Cronenberg and he helped to make this a very fast 95 minutes which is always good.
Definitely worth seeing.
