A history of violence is an Awesome movie by cronengberg. The realization the story and the acting are awesome.Only some unnecessary scenes come to weakened an awesome movie. Though it is true that cronengberg unusual disturbing scenes are many time a part of the story and his fingerprint here it is exaggerated and against the flow and the meaning of the story. An history of violence still remains an excellent movie that feature excellent acting script and realization and a great tale of self forgiveness .
If you can handle some very graphic sexual scenes then A history of violent is recommended to everyone if not..well cronengberg movie are not for everyone after all as great as they are.
