Review of A History of Violence (2005) by Laura M — 11 Dec 2012
A good thriller that keeps the viewer guessing the first half of the movie...Is Viggo Mortensen's past true or not? After seeing him put his life on the line to save everyone in the diner you can't help to like his character and feel a little bad for him even after his disturbing past is revealed.
It was obvious he put a lot of effort in trying to live a normal peaceful life with his family. Even if his past was not true this still would have been a good dramatic thriller just being about a mistake in identity.
I have yet to see a Viggo Mortensen movie I didn't like.
