David Cronenberg is one of the most daring and interesting directors, and A History of Violence further proves that! While it may not be a great film, it is a very good one. The script by Josh Olson is very good and Viggo Mortensen and Maria Bello give two very good and daring performances.
As always William Hurt and Ed Harris are very good.
