Review of A History of Violence (2005) by Bradley W — 30 Dec 2013
A History of Violence is a brilliantly directed thriller that was a perfect blend of writing and acting. Nothing was trivial in this film, with every detail and storyline helping to prove the overall purpose of the film.
Viggo Mortensne, Maria Bello, Ed Harris and William Hurt all give great performances that left me impressed. Its a dark and cruel thriller that had me engaged from start to finish, with David Cronengerg bringing in one of the best films he has ever crafted.
Truly mesmerizing.
