Review of A History of Violence (2005) by David L — 28 May 2016
The film has high entertainment value, the plot is thrilling and holds one's attention completely and the silent moving ending is a nice touch, but the movie also has a plethora of problems including the deluding title (there should have been more depth, which was promised), Mortensen's so-so performance and some illogical scenes (the typically Hollywood and hard to believe sequence in Richie's house and the totally unnecessary and stupid sex scene).
