Review of A Hijacking (2012) by Mark C — 20 Jan 2014
The cook and the CEO were the only people in this movie that were similar to real human beings and even they were overly simplistic. On top of that basically nothing happened in the entire movie except people arguing over money.
It is basically a fad piece, which explains its high ratings. Captain Phillips may be just as much a fad piece and a stereotypical Hollywood thriller, but at least it has some real substance to it.
