Review of A Haunted House (2013) by Nate H — 10 Aug 2013
As most people who know me know...I love spoof movies. But there are two types of spoof movies: the ones where there are clever jokes and even entertaining ways to bring spoofs into the actual plot (Naked Gun, Scary Movie 3, Kung Pow!) and the ones that hammer as many spoofs into one movie and hang its hat on endless sex, fart, and offensive jokes (Date Movie, Disaster Movie, Meet the Spartans).
This movie, unfortunately, is the latter and I am a fan of the previous. Nevertheless, Haunted House is not totally bad (see Stan Helsing) and kudos to Wayans continuing to try to keep spoof movies thriving in this everybody-love-realism 21st century.
