Review of A Haunted House (2013) by Will K — 17 Apr 2014
When it comes to spoofs like this, you have to be familiar with the movies they're spoofing or it's pointless. It's obvious that "A Haunted House" is knowingly dumb, but I couldn't stop laughing.
It's kind of like the return of the "Scary Movie" franchise back to its roots when the Marlon's were behind the production. If we're being technical this isn't a "good" movie but it's hilarious for what it is.
In hopes that the sequel is as funny, watch the horror films it spoofs before hand ("Paranormal Activity 1-2-3", "Blair Witch Project", "Left for Dead" (Game), "The Devil Inside").
If you can't connect with what the film is actually parodying this is just a crude pointless work.
