I have kinfolk in this movie, so I prefer not to give it a rating, but here's the deal. It is what it is. It's a Wayans movie that parodies horror movies. Critics are don't know what to do with movies like this - they have a hard time understanding movies made simply for entertainment purposes - and that's what this is.

Audiences know what they are going to see - and, frankly, based on much of what else is out there this weekend, this might be the only choice if people are grown ups looking for dumb entertainment. As I said before it is what it is - no one's expecting Schindler's List for Heaven's Sake! Critics and uptight people - give it a rest! You know what? Just b/c I have kin in it - I AM going to rate it!! 5 stars AHH.
