How appropriate because there's nothing more scarier than a Wayans Brothers movie. I always loved their TV show back in the day, but when you have only one quarter of the brothers (no pun intended) then you are not going to get a funny movie at all. I never did like any movies from the Wayans Brothers except for Scary Movie one and two, but that is pretty much it. I mean, the only thing that Marlon Wayans did with this movie is "Alright, this is what white people do with ghosts and this is what black people do with ghosts!" This is the whole joke throughout the entire movie but...some...of it...was fu-fuuu...funny. But ONLY a few bits and pieces here and there. Damn, now I think I might be possessed after typing those last two sentences. When you see the trailer to this you think this movie is like four years too late and when you see Cedric the Entertainer in it that's another motherfucker that is four years too late. I don't know why he is still working unless Tyler Perry hires him for another Madea movie. I figure it was only a matter of time until we get spoofs of found footage movies because I am so sick and tired of the Paranormal Activities and demon possession movies that I nearly lost all faith in modern horror movies. So before I call up my local priest and exorcise myself, let me tell you what I thought about this movie.

What the movie suffers from is that they came together with all the gags that they could for this premise. And there is a bunch that work and a bunch that don't, but they just put all of them in there. It'll progress one way and then they'll back up because they say, "Well we forgot to put these jokes in and let's just do this gag." Every joke they do is just one sex joke, race joke, or bathroom joke after another and when they do hit with a joke they drive it into the ground. You see that David Koechner, Cedric the Entertainer, and Jason Swardson in this and they're all just there for a few jokes and a quick paycheck. Jason Swardson is there for this one gay joke that just goes on through the whole movie when he is introduced hitting on Marlon Wayans. Even though Marlon says, "I don't go that way man." And yet they still keep using that joke. The ghost is hardly there, if you even care at all, except near the end of this movie and when he does show up it's either a sex joke or smoking weed which I have already seen before in Scary Movie two. Overall, I didn't like this movie at all. They stretched out too many jokes, none of any of the scenes where funny at all except for maybe a couple of them, and everything about this has either made me very perplexed or agitated about what these people where trying to handle this ghost. Normally I would give this my lowest rating which is half a star, but since there were ONLY one or two scenes that made me laugh a little bit I will give this one star instead.
