Review of A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints (2006) by Randy M — 04 Feb 2008
Not a bad movie but certainly not a great one either. I had a little difficulty following the timeframe switch at the beginning but once I got into the movie found it much easier to follow. It was interesting to see as I'm roughly the same age as the characters but grew up in a small town in the midwest which was not at all the same environment. People that age did act the same everywhere. There were your hard-asses, big talkers, tough guys and gals and losers, etc.
The soundtrack was fun with music from the late 70's and I enjoyed them putting a somewhat obscure KISS song, "New York Groove" in the ending credits.
