Intense and gritty journey inside the mind of a group of teenagers at a moment of great upheaval and change in their lives. Absolutely powerful look at relationships between friends, lovers, and parents.
This is not the canned Shia LaBeouf of Transformers, this is a young actor showing the true side of him, really impressive. Robert Downey, Jr, Chazz Paminteri, Dianne Wiest and Melonie Diaz all turned in great supporting performances.
One of the best movies I have seen in quite some time.
