Review of A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints (2006) by Dustin G — 07 Oct 2009
This movie just feels so REAL. As it should, Dito Montiel, the writer/director, based the movie on the book the wrote about his life.
It's one of those movies called 'coming of age' films. I don't really know what that means, what I do know is this is tough, sharp, difficult and awesome. Very impressive debut from Montiel, and perfect performances from every one of the cast.
