Review of A Good Year (2006) by Irish E — 06 Aug 2010
A Good Year is a beautiful, sweet, sentimental film set in Provence France.
The story is touching. The scenery and the house are wonderful. The acting is great.
Albert Finney has a standout performance as Uncle Henry.
Freddie Highmore does a fine job as young Max. He is a talented boy.
So what if it is not your typical Ridley Scott film? It is a nice change of pace that reminds us to slow down and enjoy life.
