Review of A Good Year (2006) by Kat B — 14 Jan 2009
From the first frame to the last, Ridley proved that he can tackle this particular genre. I was really impressed with every single performance in this film, especially with Marion Cotillard's performance as this "short-tempered' goddess".
I was also impressed with Philippe Le Sourd's photographic depiction of both London as this posh, industrious, and fast-paced world. And Provence (south east france) as this lively, slower, more simplistic world.
