Review of A Good Year (2006) by Marcus W — 28 May 2009
Crowe plays a succesful businessman who goes back to his childhood place where he used to be Freddie Highmore and rediscovers life by drinking wine etc etc etc. The first half tries to be funny and fails.
The second half tries to be meaningful and uplifting but isn't. The direction is good and there's some well written female characters (typical Scott), but otherwise this film is completely forgettable.
