This is definitely the worst die hard. It could've been a lot better, there was the possibility of a fantastic movie up until it was revealed that the son was a spy, and it all went downhill from there.
It would've been a lot better if McClane had been on vacation in Russia and was at the wrong place at the wrong time, and had to save the day like the first two.
