What used to be fun about the Die Hard series is utterly stripped away in this lackluster fifth installment, as even the ever charming and charismatic Bruce Willis appears to be sleepwalking through this drag that has a simple-minded script, and a seemingly vacant plot, that's only redeeming factor is its frantic, but entertaining, action scenes.
