It's ok. That's really all that can be said about this movie. A very exciting first act with twists and turns devolves into something bland. There's nothing new added to John McClane; in fact, there isn't anything resembling McClane in this movie.
None of his charm or tenacity, just Bruce Willis being called John. If the makers of this film were trying to hand off this franchise to John, Jr., then they picked the wrong vehicle to do it.
