Review of A Good Day to Die Hard (2013) by Russ V — 18 Apr 2014
A Good Day To Die Hard doesn't feel like a Die Hard film. It feels like a shitty action movie with Bruce Willis. After John trying to save his daughter in Live Free or Die Hard, it's no surprise that he teams up with his son in this one.
This would be fine, if it were done right, but unfortunately they came up with a stupid idea that almost feels cliche, that is his son turns out to be a spy working for the CIA. Other problems with the movie include CGI that is much worse than the already mediodre CGI from Live Free or Die Hard, and under-developed/ uninteresting villains that make you almost forget that there even are main villains.
The only redeeming qualities for A Good Day To Die Hard are Bruce Willis and it's 97 minute run time.
