Review of A Good Day to Die Hard (2013) by John B — 26 Apr 2014
This was another fail attempt at trying to make this Die Hard movie awesome! One, make John McClane an awesome character, in this one, he's old, he's a little bit sarcastic, and Bruce Willis isn\'t so invested into this character.
One of the problems I have with this movie is the ridiculous amounts of CGI, you guys miss the whole point of Die Hard, it is a struggle of John McClane getting his job done throughout the entire movie.
He doesn't need a sidekick, in this movie, he does and that is his son Jack McClane, the whole point is that there are so many conveniences in this movie, how is it possible that John McClane hardly gets shot, and he's not really that battle damaged? The only thing I like about this movie is that it brought back the 18A style of Die Hard like he's always swearing and there are bloody action scenes, but the problem is Die Hard movies need real blood squibs and it should be explosive and popping out of people when they get shot in a movie.
This is not as good as the first 2 Die Hard movies. It shouldn't have continued until this year! However, that this movie is slightly better than Live Free or Die Hard.
