Almost nonsensical-we are led to believe that the Russian man Mclane's son is supposed to protect is a political prisoner, and the government minister who had him arrested is the bad guy, but then suddenly at the end of the film he isn't? I never could determine which man betrayed who, who was the villian and who was the "good guy." were either of them "good?" and what was the file they kept talking about which turned out to be uranium supposed to have contained? was it the info that the government official through greed had caused chernobyl ? but then the guy he had locked up had no interest in that; he just wanted to get rich by selling uranium?

Horrible, just horrible. even the action sequences which these movies are mainly created for were so over the top and unrealistic that they were boring. and you know the ideas have run dry when at least the beginning of the villian's death is an almost exact recreation of the first baddy's demise (the wonderful alan rickman) in the original die hard. skip this.
