Review of A Global Affair (1964) by Allan C — 25 Jul 2014
Bob Hope is a UN official who is put in charge of a baby left at the New York City UN. Bob Hope wisecracks and hilarity ensure as confirmed bachelor Hope struggles caring for the child as the UN struggles with what to do with the child.
What ends up happening is that female representatives from countries around the world all vie to adopting the child, including Yvonne "Lily Munster" De Carlo and Barbara Bouchet. Hugh Downs also has a cameo as himself.
It's not a classic, but entertaining enough if you like Bob Hope.
