Review of A Ghost Story (2017) by Arthur B — 12 Aug 2017
It could have been such a good film, but the director has these long boring scenes of nothing happening. I had sit and watch a woman eat a pie till she threw up. The female actor can't act at all and didn't even cry when she saw her dead partner.
Quite a few people walked out of the cinema. I stayed till the end. It has an interesting twist, but using a sheet to represent a ghost/spirit is stupid and was doomed from the beginning. Two ghosts communicate in one scene, it was so ridiculous that people started laughing.
Low budget film, no special effects to show you one can walk through the ghost. I will be avoiding this director's films.
