So why is this film so polarizing in terms of reviews? I believe it is because it is very slow with minimal dialogue. Ultimately, I feel it fails to entertain which is why I rated it only 2 stars. if 2 1/2 stars is the median score representing an average film, this is below average.

It isn't so bad that you would probably stop watching because there is the curious factor, i.e. what will happen to the ghost? However, even though it has a message about the meaning of life, ultimately it becomes quickly boring.

A film can be interesting and good if the actors are able to show emotion even without dialogue but the ghost is unable to do that since he has no face. There are long periods in the film where there is nothing but this figure in a white sheet sitting or standing with complete silence.

Maybe this would have worked as some 30 minute art house film but otherwise you're left thinking "well, that was strange" and "what was the point of all that?" The premise is interesting but after seeing this figure in a white sheet for 15 minutes, the novelty wears off and you're left with basically watching a silent film featuring a man in a white sheet.
