David Lowery chooses not to cheapen A Ghost Story with dialogue. Unfortunately, he also chooses not to give A Ghost Story an actual story. Despite the film's attempt to convince its audience of the universe's nihilistic nature, I found myself instead encouraged by how much meaning my life - and all lives - truly bear.
This seems to be the opposite intent of the film.
