Review of A Ghost Story (2017) by Dave G — 20 Oct 2017

I started watching once and had to stop it was PAINFULLY slow. Literally there is a 7 minute section of her just eating a pie. The point is to show how distraught she is. Yeah, didn't need 7 minutes to figure that out.

So, I went back and watched it at 2x speed and jumped forward quite a few times. Watching the ghost break a bunch of dishes with a new family comes in is interesting. That lasts about a minute. And listening to the hipster tirade on the meaningless of life.

.. okay, well that was good, but even his speech is drawn out to slow. But jump to the 58 min mark to hear it... it's actually pretty good. This should have been a short story... it would have been 4 or 5 stars.

But 90 minutes? No, it wasn't worth the time. it's a total waste of time. If you can't watch it at 2x speed, don't bother. Wait for some youtuber to edit it down to it's appropriate 10 minute length.
